Dr. Webster will discuss the evolving of Freud's term 'Conversion Disorder' to present day ambiguity of mind-body relationships, including the phenomena of radical religious transformation. " 'Conversion Disorder' speaks a powerful truth about the way our bodies are affected by the world around us".  Dr. Webster' turns to philosophers Foucault and Agamben in this current, in-progress work.
